The Brazos Valley Pride narrowly defeated the College Station Dragons in the 15-16 year-old division of the Select Tournament this past weekend by a score of 7-4.

The Dragons opened up the first inning with two runs on three hits behind Spaw’s two-RBI single. The Pride came right back in the bottom of the first with two runs on two doubles to tie the game.

The Pride came back with three more in the second inning to take the lead, and they never looked back. Pride centerfielder Marshall finished the game 4-for-4 with three singles, a double and three RBI as the Pride came up with a 7-4 victory.
